SONGS IN THE TURTLE DANCE OF NAMBE

First song

Yellow Flower Girl!
Blue Flower Girl!
Mottled Corn Girl!
Blue Corn Girl!
Thus on the plain,
Thus on the plain,
Everything they revive,
And hither return!

Second song

Out over Great Dawn Canyon Lake
The various fog plains be scattered
And now from there Cloud Boys come walking
And now from there Cloud Girls come walking.
With little ones they come to Nambe town
To make the children live and grow
That, one and all, we may be happy.

Third song

Rain waters now are falling
Afar the thunders crash,
Afar the lightnings gleam,
Afar the lightnings flash
And quickly now return.

Fourth song

The red round fruits
We gather in!
The red round fruits
We gather in!
